STUDY OF STILLISTICS IN THE NOVEL BY ANDREA HIRATA: A PEER REVIEW STUDY

Abstract

This study discusses the stylistics of Andrea Hirata's novels. The method used in this study is the literature review approach. The purpose of this review is to determine the stylistics or use of language style, sound aspects, vocabulary, sentence structure, figurative language, rhetorical rank, figurative language, figures of speech, lexical aspects, grammatical aspects, cohesion aspects, structural investigations, imagery to graphic displays that can add aesthetic value to Andrea Hirata's works. Several studies have shown that the use of good stylistics can build complex storyline elements so that overall the study can make readers more deeply understand the entire contents of the story.
