Abstract

This study analyzes how learning evaluation can be conducted using test method through the Quizizz application. There are several benefits of using the Quizizz application in developing learning assessment on poetry writing. Firstly, this application allows students to learn independently and interactively through features such as multiple-choice questions, break times, and leaderboards. Secondly, the use of Quizizz can enhance students' motivation and interest in learning due to its fun game elements and competitive aspects. Thus, students receive a more varied learning model using increasingly advanced technology. The aim of this study is to develop the evaluation of poetry writing skills learning using Quizizz application in a more comprehensive and complete manner. This assessment will cover various aspects such as understanding poetry texts, interpretation of poetry, and comprehension of the material presented. It is expected that with the development of this assessment, the learning evaluation process through the application can be more effective and provide more accurate results in measuring students' abilities. The research method employs the ADDIE model with five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Moreover, the subjects involved in the learning evaluation process using Quizizz application are the students of X-1 class. There are two testing phases that are a small-scale pilot involving 10 students and a large-scale pilot involving 33 students. The results of this study show that the process carried out by the X-1 students of SMA Negeri 1 Jombang ran smoothly. As for effectiveness and attractiveness, the pre-test achieved an average percentage of 60.33%, categorized as "Good" in terms of effectiveness and "Fairly Interesting" in attractiveness. The post-test achieved an average percentage of 78.93%, categorized as "Very Good" in effectiveness and "Very Interesting" in attractiveness.
