Abstract
This study aims to analyze the personality of the character Karang in the web series "Aku Tak Membenci Hujan" using a literary psychology approach, and to examine its relevance in learning Indonesian in grade XI. The character Karang is described as a figure who experiences inner conflict, childhood trauma, and the search for identity, which can be analyzed through Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytic theory, namely id, ego, and superego. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques in the form of documentation and observation of dialogues and scenes in the web series. The results of the study indicate that Karang's personality is shaped by traumatic childhood experiences, emotional stress, and complex social relationships. These psychological elements influence the attitudes, decisions, and inner conflicts experienced by the character. These findings are relevant in learning Indonesian in grade XI, especially in the material on analyzing characters and characterization in drama texts. Literary psychology analysis can help students understand characters more deeply, as well as hone critical thinking skills and empathy for characters in literary works
